Madhya Pradesh is steadily emerging as one of India ’ s most promising destinations for renewable energy
development, sustainable industrialisation, and climate-resilient growth. With abundant solar potential,
rapidly expanding industrial corridors, growing urban centres, and increasing policy emphasis on clean
mobility and energy efficiency, the state is uniquely positioned to play a defining role in India ’ s green
transition journey.
As India accelerates its commitment towards achieving net-zero targets, strengthening energy security, and
promoting sustainable economic growth, the focus is increasingly shifting from policy intent to
implementation-driven action. Industries are actively seeking cleaner energy alternatives, cities are investing
in smart and resilient infrastructure, and governments are prioritising climate-conscious development
strategies that balance economic growth with environmental responsibility.
In this evolving landscape, there is a growing need for collaborative platforms that bring together
policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, urban planners, financial institutions, researchers,
startups, and civil society to deliberate on scalable and actionable clean energy solutions. The transition
towards a low-carbon economy requires not only innovation and investments, but also stronger partnerships,
policy alignment, technology adoption, and cross-sector collaboration.
Building on the success of the previous edition, Harit Urja Conclave – Powering Madhya Pradesh (2nd
Edition) aims to serve as a high-impact platform for dialogue, partnerships, and knowledge exchange
focused on accelerating sustainable growth across key sectors. The conclave, scheduled on 4th August
2026, at Hotel Courtyard by Marriott, Bhopal will showcase emerging technologies, successful
implementation models, policy frameworks, financing opportunities, and sector-specific strategies that can
drive renewable energy integration and sustainability adoption at scale.
The conclave will focus on critical areas including renewable energy integration across industries,
agriculture, and residential infrastructure; green mobility and EV ecosystems; biomass and bio-energy; smart
cities and sustainable urban infrastructure; climate change and ESG; appliance efficiency; and battery
storage technologies.
By bringing together key stakeholders from government, industry, academia, utilities, infrastructure, and the
clean technology ecosystem, the conclave seeks to create a roadmap for accelerating Madhya Pradesh’ s
transition towards a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future while positioning the state as a leading
hub for green innovation and investment in India.
